ABOUT THE FINALISTS:


Afeez Iyiola

Afeez Iyiola is a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology where he bagged a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He is currently running his Master’s degree in University of Ibadan. He is a fellow with Teach for Nigeria. He became the TeachSDGs Ambassador so as to ensure proper future for the pupils he is currently teaching through the fellowship. Afeez is a lover of chess and scrabble games.


Ismail Aliyu

Aliyu Ismail has a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He was a former faculty president of his school students’ association; a charismatic leader, outspoken, and he is the current head of co-ordinators North Central region at Kate Tales Foundation where he advocates for the girl child’s education, women empowerment, gender equality and promotion of creativity among students. 


Funmilola Awosanya

Funmilola Awosanya is the founder of oppourtunities.com, a social enterprise that advocates for SDGs 4 and 8, and connects youths with opportunities in the social space. She helped create an avenue for youths to access timely and prompt opportunities. Funmilola works with different community-based organizations to advance quality education and promote decent jobs for a sustainable world. 

 

Daniel Abdul

Daniel Abdul is a volunteer fellow with Teach for Nigeria. He is an English Language and English Literature curriculum builder and tutor with Prepclass Nigeria Limited. He is the founder and team head of Daniel Abdul Leadership and Mentoring Foundation (DALMF), an NGO focused on promoting SDG 4 through teaching, training, mentoring and building leadership capacity in students and teachers.
