The community has over 2,300 inhabitants, community and no functioning source of safe water supply, Their primary school also don’t have a functioning water source which poses a great risk to the socio-economic development of the people and also to the learning and the development of the child.
There are over six nonfunctional borehole systems in the community including those made by the government, there is no water source close to their Primary Healthcare Centre, they will have to walk a long distance to fetch water for use in the clinic.
We have heard the plight of this community and also have visited the community to get first-hand information, Hence, We humbly request that you donate to help us rehabilitate 2 boreholes in the community ( Close to the PHC and School).
It will cost 329,000 to fix both boreholes. Your donation will ensure that women and girls don't spend hours that could be used for productive ventures are not spent trying to fetch water for the household, students remaining in school when they are tasty, and girls are able to safely manage their periods in school.
