Focus on the numbers

Published Jul 13, 2022

A January 2022 United Nations Children's Fund report shows that there are 10.5 million out of school children in Nigeria. The highest rate worldwide.

This statistics spell impending doom for our future. The effects are already here with us and can be seen in rising narcotic abuse, prostitution, armed robbery and cultism among young people.

To stem this time, all hands must be on deck and efforts made to ensure that the attendance of children in school is significantly increased.

Girl child education is of utmost prominence to ensure that they have a competitive advantage with their male counterparts
