As the world celebrates women all over the world, we would like to remind you that the best way to celebrate a woman is by giving her equal opportunities and access to basic amenities like health, education, financial services, etc. And for us at iTakeActions, we will continue to provide all our Action Citizens the tools and opportunities to help women in Nigeria, and Africa to achieve their full potentials.
Education remains the most assured way of helping women achieve their full potentials. This was given a human touching story by Fatoumata Tambajang, the Vice President of Gambia when she said “I was married at 16, a child bride. But I stand before you today as a testament to education” during the Global Partnership for Education financing conference earlier this year in Dakar, Senegal.
As an Action Citizen, would you sign this petition to tell President Macron of France to use his visit to Nigeria in July to remind the Nigerian Government on the importance of providing quality education to the girl child?
We hope these quotes inspire you to take this action:

“Real change happens when we invest in girls. Every year, millions of girls are denied an education at a time when it has the power to transform their lives and the world around them. If a girl is able to make it through primary and secondary education, it can help them break the cycle of poverty and it can help put a stop to early and forced marriage. Nigel Chapman, CEO, Plan International
"No industry or country can reach its full potential until women reach their full potential." Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook, founder of LeanIn.Org
