Did you know that rural women give an invaluable contribution to development?

On average, women make up more than 40 percent of the agricultural labour force in developing countries, and up to 50 percent or more in some parts of Africa and Asia. Yet, they disproportionately experience discrimination, exclusion, poverty, hunger and malnutrition. Improving the lives of rural women is essential in order to eradicate poverty.

15 October was the International Day of Rural Women. We want to celebrate this event together with the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, observed on 17 October, as empowering women and achieving gender equality is a relevant ingredient in the fight against poverty. Building forward means dismantling structures of discrimination that disadvantage people in poverty.

During this particular day and every other day, Noble Missions invites you to contribute to eradicating poverty in rural communities in Nigeria. Education is an opportunity to escape poverty. Yet, it is not equally accessible to all. With your donation, you can help a widow living in a rural community in Nigeria to send her kids to school.
