Join a growing movement of girls speaking out on issues that matter — from safety to education, health, and digital rights.
Voices at the Table is a safe and empowering Citizen Assembly concept where girls across Nigeria can share their lived experiences, reflect on community issues, and influence change. Each session focuses on real topics affecting girls — from safety to education, health to leadership — and provides a platform for your voice to be heard.
The assembly will be virtual and physical. Virtually, young girls across Nigeria will be able to air their voices through the platform. Physically in our office in Benin City, we will gather a small group of girls periodically within each quarter to also share their voices face-to-face.
Whether it’s your first time speaking up or you’re already leading change, this space is for you. You don’t need experience — just honesty, curiosity, and the courage to share.
Download our simple guide below to understand the issue — you can read it or listen to its podcast.
You tell us what you think — through an online form, short video or attend one of our face to face sessions in Benin City.
We put your voices together in a report that gets shared with decision-makers and advocates.
The ideas, questions and solutions you share help shape real conversations, advocacy, and change.
“It was the first time I shared my story. I felt heard, and I want to do more.”
— Amina, 17, Kaduna
“Joining Voices at the Table gave me confidence to speak out at school. My teachers listened.”
— Favour, 16, Benin City
“Now I know that even small voices can make big change. I tell all my friends to join.”
— Blessing, 15, Lagos
This is the very first Voices at the Table citizens’ assembly — and here’s what we envision together:
Across Nigeria will have shared their voices virtually and in person in the first year.
Will be published each quarter and shared with key decision-makers and advocacy networks.
With each cycle, girls' feedback will contribute to influencing policies, shaping programmes, and sparking broader community conversations.
If you’re ready to speak up, learn from others, and help shape real change, get started below. You can choose to participate virtually or request to join the in-person session in Benin City.
Go beyond participation — become an AmplifyHer Advocate and take the lead in organising conversations in your school, community, or church. As an Advocate, you'll receive training, tools, and recognition to help more girls speak up and be heard.
Voices at the Table is stronger when we build it together. Whether you're a donor, NGO, community group, school, or media partner, we invite you to collaborate with us to expand civic spaces for girls.
